Probiotic MPF™ contains certain nutrients required for maintaining the proper permeability of the intestinal mucosa (MPF-mucosal permeability factor). L-Glutamine is a major respiratory fuel for the gut and is the preferred fuel for intestinal epithelial cells. N-Acetyl Glucosamine and other amino sugars form the protective mucous layer and cellular cement that regulate intestinal permeability, and are an integral part of cell membranes and the interstitial tissue which hold cells together. Quercetin helps to support mucosal health.◆ Zinc supports the immune system.◆ This product provides “friendly” acidophilus and bifido intestinal bacteria along with fructo- oligosaccharides, which promote their proliferation to balance intestinal flora.◆
